JACOB COHËN
WOMEN'S SPRING/SUMMER 2025
A quest for the essential. Clean lines that streamline clothes, with an approach that leads to discrete luxury. Nearly interior. The Jacob Cohën SS25 style is well defined, consisting in rigour and femininity. There is never any exaggeration in the interplay of balanced elements creating a collection with an intimate nature.
The heart is always denim. Vital. Energetic. Worked with "feminine" washes. Treatments that soften a fabric that is rugged by definition. Over-shirts that reveal tops that are decidedly minimalistic, in stripy or plain cotton, tied with a double loop, with belts and buckles, a clearreference to transgressive lingerie. Affectation has no space here. Quite the opposite: there is a definite affinity with a masculine wardrobe. The poplin shirts with the large stripe. The leather shorts cut like boxer shorts.
It is all a question of attitude. Of self-confidence. Of wanting to show off one's femininity, infused with a new strength that reveals a new woman. Trends are ignored. Instead a movement is being created, wanting clothes that last in time. Quality comes first.
Jeans are open at the bottom, like flowers. The laid-back feel of dresses in Savannah denim, broken by a contrasting belt. Jacketsin treated cotton boast the usefulness of over-sized pocketsthatseem applied like the decorations on couture clothing. An injection of acidic colours, verging on the neon, such as green, next to more conservative hues such as blue, grey and egg white, on gossamer cashmere tops
with a deep neckline and short sleeves.
